Graffiti art in downtown Manhattan. Very inspiring piece of creative public artwork free for everyone to see.
David Hammons is an amazing contemporary artist who is always thinking outside the box. In this piece he uses his own body as a stamp to create this original work of art.
Van Gogh has always been an inspiring artist of mine. When up close you can see his small line strokes which collectively make up amazing piecing of work including portraits like one of his most famous pieces seen here at the MET in the heart of Manhattan.

The This piece is composed of two 12x12 wood panels that are hinged to be able to fold and connect the pieces. They are painted to resemble a space galaxy atmosphere and combined with geometric mirror design to juxtapose the intangible space element with whatever reality setting the mirror reflects. Mirrors and their surreal qualities have become a huge part of my work.
Jackson Pollock is a very inspirational artist that paved the way for what art can be and how it can be created. Seeing this piece in person was an amazing experience.
Artist unknown, his or her work is composed of photographs that display a sense of point perspective which then the artist expands the work to show deeper space. This style is amazing and has inspired me to combine photos and my love for drawing.
This graffiti art piece in downtown Manhattan inspired me to think in terms of where art can be if you just look for it. The message of "think" with the exposed brain and robot eye gets my thoughts turning and makes me think how to not be robotic product of society and to expand your mind!
